The WNYEA Congress is our annual meeting of the membership, where we discuss current issues of the organization, determine our Action Agenda for the upcoming year, and vote on changes to the organization and Board of Directors, as needed. In previous years, we have met at community locations throughout Buffalo and Erie County, and featured speakers from member organizations and local government on relevant topics of discussion.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 Annual Congress has transitioned to a virtual event to support public health safety and comply with related regulations.
The WNYEA recognizes the interconnectedness of the environment, public health, and social equity, and have planned a Virtual Brown Bag Lunch with a panel of local representatives to discuss how we are collectively working toward climate justice in Western New York.
